Rehabilitation Resources
Rehabilitation is an accepted part of the implant process since the brain needs auditory training and exercise to get used to the new sound. Children with cochlear implants and their families require a comprehensive rehabilitation program to help them utilize the auditory signal and to naturally integrate the various components of communication.
Adults can also benefit in learning and practicing communication and language skills.
